ADaD & Tensei bring back the raw hiphop essence on "Overdose" • Word Is Bond

PUBLISHED: January 12, 2018

Rapper ADaD comes back to the forefront after a short furlough with this track titled “Overdose”. The hard hitting joint is a lyrical showcase from start to finish as ADad gets busy at every turn with lines like “…Preachers in the pews , Feeding people sweet evil / I don’t get into the news ,The fruit is in between the vines…”. He paints a gloomy landscape of his environment using the self redemption allegory while still delivering witty lines over the dark, gritty instrumentation provided by production duo Tensei.

The single is off his collaborative EP with Chicago production duo Tensei titled “Danger Us”. A 6 track EP produced by them and features acts such as Black Thought, Makaya McCraven (International Anthem), Greg Spero (Halsey) , Yaw Ageyman and manny more. You can stream the EP HERE
