JP Reynolds switch things up on "Too Strange" • Word Is Bond

JP Reynolds comes with another gem titled “Too Strange”. Ignore the title as the song deals with overcoming one’s present circumstances and rise above. He teams up with producer Luke White who crafts a dark, brooding soundscape that sounds so ethereal and dreamy for the topic at hand. It’s the fifth song in a series that JP Reynolds intends to continue throughout the year, releasing at least one song per month.

Imagine a world full of compassion and freedom and connection. It doesn’t quite exist yet. But that world definitely won’t come to fruition if there isn’t even an effort to envision it. Vibrations and rhythms can transport us there. JP REYNOLDS shares some insight: “I’m here to help us see new things and build new worlds. While being grounded by what’s actually happening around us, it’s also important to retreat when necessary. The world has been on fire, and this song is for when we need a break from the heat.”

JP Reynolds dwells deep under the "Icebergs." • Word Is Bond

On the newest entry in his monthly music series, JP Reynolds drops an insightful record titled “Icebergs”. He further explains: “We could learn a lot from the giant chunks of ice that float in the ocean. So I employ an iceberg mentality, which means that I’ve got to keep floating and be in the flow even if no one will ever see the real work, the 90%, the unseen.”

In addition to releasing the song, JP REYNOLDS is issuing a social media #IcebergsChallenge: Post a picture of yourself in the flow. Use lyrics from the song! The person with my favorite photo will get free merchandise.

Imagine you fall in love with someone who has been through so much and you just want to give each other the world. It’s beautiful to seek a journey or be on a journey with someone you connect with on such a deep and dope level.”

JP Reynolds seeks to do better on "Mirror" • Word Is Bond

JP Reynolds holds a mirror to himself and questions the most sensitive aspect of being a man.  With the reckoning season driven by #MeToo, it’s important (for men especially) to reflect upon the ways in which we all operate in sexual encounters. JP Reynolds adds: “I definitely have been looking back on my own sexual history and re-evaluating behavior that could have been harmful even though I’m supposedly one of the so-called ‘good guys.’ The unfortunate and ugly truth is that the bar is just set way too low and rape culture is the air we breathe. And frankly, it’s not enough to just look in the mirror to realize I, too, have done some things I’m not proud of – I’ve got to make some changes. I hope this song can inspire some genuine thought.”

It’s the second song in a series that JP REYNOLDS intends to continue throughout the year, releasing at least one song per month.
