Vez & Da Prynce – “Keep It 100” (Video)

Following his big summer hits, up-and-coming recording artist Vez continues to blaze a trail for himself in today’s Hip-Hop. VEZ continues his breakout summer, he fittingly drops a new visual where he’s… breaking out. This time, the New Mexico rapper is joined by P4P Entertainment labelmate, Da Prynce, for the US Marshall’s themed video “Keep It 100.” Watch as the two lyricists exchange high-octane verses (over CasokBeats’ production) as they make their escape.

Says VEZ:
“The vibe when Da Prynce and I did the song was kinda weird because that was our first time even meeting, then he walked in with about 50 crips. Honestly, I was a little thrown off, but after about 15 minutes of smoking the atmosphere was dope and we feel like we came up with a banger.”

Says Da Prynce:
“The video treatment was done by our mutual manager/ video director, Jonathan “Beauty Salon” Hamm. I told him I watched the movie US Marshall’s the other day and wanted to do some escape convict shit and we put it together. Hamm usually comes up with the ideas but Editz is the coldest with making everything fit and shooting and editing the footage. It was very different for me because most of my videos have all of the SWACC 40 Crips in it, so we changed it up with this one.”

Vez – “Bless Ya Feed” (Video)

New Mexico’s own Vez is following up his recent video, “Drama” with a crafty new freestyle-esqe visual, entitled, “Bless Ya Feed”. Shot by Editz & directed by Jon “Beauty Salon” Hamm. For his July offering, the talented lyricist comes through with some more heat. VEZ takes Lil Baby & Drake’s banger and cleverly flips it into this new joint.

Vez says, “As soon as I first heard the original song I thought it was a slap. I figured I could definitely do something with this and really go in. Throughout the video we were basically trying to capture that creative process and the vibe of the studio by getting a closer look at the P4P team and what type of shit you might see during one of my studio sessions. To top it off, you already know we had to pay homage to Drake and Lil Baby with the interview clips and the beginning and end. I’m big a fan of both of them, and the original song so fuck it, why not?”

Vez – “Drama” (Video) –

The show Breaking Bad has long since been the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but upstart emcee VEZ plans to put his city on the map for a new reason, bars. The 18-year-old ABQ resident has been in a different kind of lab, cooking up for the last few months and now is ready for an onslaught of releases for the remainder of 2018. We start things off with his video for “Drama.”

Says Vez:
“It was just one of those beats that gave me the chills. I knew right away I just wanted to say some reckless shit with high energy. Coming up as a white, teenage, rapper in a city not know for music had me thinking: ‘how in the fuck am I gonna make it from here’ and seeing rappers who I feel like I’m better than kinda had me aggravated. The past year I’ve had so much hate because I was the only artist from this city getting national attention. Wih this video we wanted to show the life of an everyday aspiring rapper going through DRAMA due to people not believing in their dream.”
